Fall Organic Skincare Guide

Fall Organic Skincare Guide

Fall is finally here! Through the regular use of quality products, you can prepare your skin for these crisp, cool days. This is particularly true if the summer months have left you with sun spots, melasma, and other pigmentation concerns.

Here at Cynaglow, we are pleased to offer two skincare solutions by Orgaid. Each one is specifically formulated to help you achieve a brighter, smoother, and overall healthier complexion.

Purifying Face Polish

Orgaid’s Purifying Face Polish may be just what you need to remove dead skin cells and soften your skin. Made with Jojoba, Soybean, Safflower, and Sunflower Oil, this organic face polish will dissolve seamlessly while you exfoliate. As long as you use it twice a week, you’ll enjoy smooth, supple skin that’s ready for the colder fall months.

How to Use It: Scoop a dime sized amount onto your hand, add a bit of water, and lightly massage onto your face in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Use 1 to 2 times per week for best results.

Organic Sheet Mask - Vitamin C & Revitalizing

The Vitamin C & Revitalizing Organic Sheet Mask by Orgaid can do wonders for any discoloration and unevenness you may be facing after summer, even if you have sensitive skin. It’s biodegradable and created with Ecoderma fabric technology to allow the serum to absorb deeply into the skin. This mask’s packaging is recyclable.

While vitamin C boosts the skin’s natural collagen production, lemon gently exfoliates dead skin cells, hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin, and lavender soothes with its anti-inflammatory properties.

How to Use It: Wash your face thoroughly, exfoliate and apply the mask to your clean skin, relax for 20 to 30 minutes, remove the mask, and move on to the rest of your skincare routine.

Other Ways to Prepare Your Skin for Fall

Here are several other ways you can prepare your skin for the season of colorful leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and comfortable sweaters.

Use Sunscreen

Even though the weather will become colder and less sunny, you may still get exposed to damaging UV-A and UB-B rays. Therefore, continue to apply sunscreen to your skin. By doing so, you can  reduce the risk of fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, burns, and skin cancer.

Exfoliate

The fall weather may dry out your skin so exfoliation is a must. By exfoliating, you can get rid of dead skin cells and keep your skin clean and clear. Overexfoliating can do more harm than good so try to exfoliate two to three times per week at most.

Eat Healthy

Since fall is often a busy time of year, it may be tempting to eat whatever you feel like. Healthy skin starts within so it’s important to eat right. Opt for fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins. Stay away from foods that are loaded with sugar and trans-fat.

Hydrate

Hydration is the key to glowing skin, regardless of the season. That’s why it’s vital to drink plenty of water every single day. When the air gets extra dry, you may also want to invest in a humidifier for your home. It can help you stay healthy and hydrated with ease.

Moisturize Your Lips

Colder weather almost always leads to chapped lips. Therefore, you should wear a nourishing chapstick to protect them. The chapstick will keep your lips moisturized and attractive all season long.

These tips are sure to set you up for a healthy, fulfilling fall. Best of luck in your transition to the cooler months.
